Nose piercing HURTS😩

Okay I’ve had my nose pierced for a little over a year. So it’s not new or anything.🤣 I’ve had a cold for the last three days and I guess in between me constantly having to blow my nose and it running the spot is starting to hurt. I had to take it out earlier so I could wash my face in the shower and it hurt really really bad trying to get it back in. Like a sharp pain in my nose.

Is there some way I can get it back to normal? I’m so tempted to just take my ring out and just let it grow up but I know I’ll regret it. This pain is just getting irritating though.😒
