Vanilla extract substitute?

I'm craving French toast but we have no vanilla extract. What can I use as a substitute?

You don't need anything.  We never add any flavors to our french toast and it's great.
Heck we don't even add milk because of allergies in our home. Still fantastic.

just eggs, milk, and cinnamon ..but I've been wanting to try French toast where you dip it in that mixture and then dip it in crunched up frosted flakes and then make crunchy French toast

Make it with cinnamon!!! Or use maple syrup instead mixed into the eggs

I never even knew people put vanilla in it lol. I just use eggs, milk, and cinnamon.

I've never added vanilla, but you could do almond or hazelnut extract instead, or some cinnamon or nutmeg.
