Does the appearance of the penis matter?

It's not size that I'm talking about but the actual appearance. Does it actually matter? I've been with my boyfriend for some weeks now and we've been fooling around😂 but he's so sweet and caring, not like my ex. He's everything I've ever wanted in someone. This is the most random thing I've ever wrote about..anyways, I saw his tip for like half a second when I was giving him a hand job and it looked a little weird? I felt so fucking bad because I think he's self conscious about it. When he saw that I saw he put his pants back up really quick. Idk if it matters or not for the penis to look a certain way. Maybe I wasn't looking at it long enough to actually notice?

EDIT: I would not and will never make fun of my own boyfriend over what his package looks like. That's just not who I am or how I was raised. I'm only curious because people say that it does matter for some reason.
