How long would you wait to try for another?

Question

I’m 42 with a newborn (2 months old).  How long would you wait to try for another due to age?

If you plan to have more hun go for it. No time like the present.  
I gave birth to my twins at age 40 and thank God I’m pregnant again now at age 42 with our last baby. 
We will have 7 after this baby is born. God willing xo. Go for it

My doctor said to wait a year. I am 41 and I have a 4 month old.

I wouldn’t wait at all - I’d start right away! I’m nearly 43.

My first was 9 months old when I got pregnant with my second one. It was not a pleasant experience. My body had not healed from having my first and I started contracting at 30 weeks. I had to be put on meds to stop my contractions. I made it to 37 weeks before I was induced. 18 months didn’t feel like enough time with my oldest. If it’s possible I’d wait a year. I’m going to this time. This is my 3rd, 1st with my new husband. I had 3 ectopics and had to treat with methotrexate which I can’t do and breastfeed. So I want her to get at least a year of breastfeeding before we try again. I’m 40 now.

I’m 42 and had my baby boy in November and I just found out I’m pregnant again. I’m kind of scared because I had a c-section and had 2 miscarriages before my boy. If you have a natural birth, I think you can still try but ask ur ob first

I would start as soon as you physically and emotionally feel comfortable. Two of my kids are only 10 months apart almost to the day, so you can tell how I roll lol. We weren't TTC with the younger one, but we were ecstatic. For safety's sake, I probably should have waited a couple more months, though.

I wouldnt wait too long.I didnt wait after having my 13 month old..I'm 43 n a half n just dound out I'm pregnant w baby #4 after a miscarriage in March.My OB said they usually tell people to give the body 6 mos ( sure u know this ) ..We didnt want to wait..that said I'm breastfeeding n that's probably what delayed the conception.42 is the year around the world where research shows women having less pregnancies if they are not on birth control.Try n get some sleep n BD when U feel it s right
