Complete placenta previa...what to expect???

I was diagnosed with placenta previa at 18wks, I am currently 26wks. Has anyone experienced complete placenta previa in their pregnancy? I have it now and have been seeing my specialist and OB on it. They gave my “due date” for Sep 8th. Wondering if anyone else has gone through this and what your experience was like? Did anyone give birth sooner than what they were told? How was the healing process? This is my 4th pregnancy and honestly I’m pretty scared🤭I’ve heard bad stories about it. On top of that, my uterus will be removed along with my placenta. Which is no problem because my family is now complete. So no more kids for me lol. Ive heard it can become dangerous. Trying to ease my mind and prepare for after delivery. Any advice??

I'm due September 10!! At my 19 week scan they told me I had complete placenta previa and that it wouldn't move so I would have to have a c-section. I seen a specialist at 23 weeks and just 4 week difference.. the placenta had moved up 10mm!! I still have another 10mm to go before I can have a natural birth like my first 2 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I haven't had any bleeding at all. My last pregnancy I had partial placenta previa until my 35 week ultrasound and it had finally moved up so I was able to have her natural. I had lots of bleeding with my last. Just be careful with lifting no more than 10lbs and pelvic rest (no penetration). I hope things work out for u and I!! And we can have natural births!!

I was diagnosed with partial placenta previa at my 20 week scan, I am now 23 weeks. Due to having 4 miscarriages before, which included D&C as well as other surgeries the doctor does not foresee this moving. I am seeing a specialist in 2 weeks to see how things have progressed. I was told that because of my age (40), along with the previa and surgeries I will need to have a c-section. I have joined a support group on Facebook - placenta previa & accretion...I must warn you some of the Stories are hair raising, but there are also wonderful positive stories! It definitely has helped me with so many of my questions and Its so good to know you are now alone! hope this helps you 😊

With my second, I had a complete placenta previa and a completely “normal” pregnancy.  I was lucky and had no bleeding or other issues throughout.  I had a scheduled c-section at 39wks with no complications.  I was on pelvic rest from 18wks until delivery but other than that, nothing was different from my first pregnancy.  I was told it is actually more common than most people think.  I’m not trying to downplay it because I know there are risks but in my case, everything was on track and I had a healthy baby.

I currently have Complete Placenta Previa as well. I was diagnosed at my 19 week anatomy ultra sound. 
I have been in the hospital two times with bleeds so far. Both similar to a period, but stopped with in reasonable tome. My bleeds were at 19 and a half weeks and 21 weeks and 2 days. Definitely is extremely scary when it happens, but so far all has been controlled. I am now 26 and a half weeks and due on September 6!
