My son always seems to have a lot of wax in his ears and often pulls at them or tries to stick things in them. I’ve had the doctor check them and he said everything was fine, but I had just cleaned them that morning after my son got really frustrated and jammed a pencil in his ear so I’m not sure if that hindered things.

How much wax is normal for a 20m old? We gently clean them when wax is visible which is about every two or three days.

My fiancé had glue ear when he was an infant that went undetected for years so we’re weary of our little man having apparent issues with his ears.

Any advice or suggestions appreciated!
