I was due my baby 25th may and by the 30th he still was cooking I had some painful contractions Thursday night and had my 41 week midwife appointment at home the next day on the 31st may she came at 10am and I was getting a few contractions she was going to do a sweap and when she checked me I was 3cm i wasnt handling the pain so she called labour ward and off we went... got to labour ward around 11:30 and contractions were strong so started the gas she checked me again at 12 and I was a 6 so I begged got epidural well that's when it all turned wrong my epidural failed after one dose and came out so they tried a further 7 times I was held still for almost 2 hours having this epidural my back is butchered in the end they gave me a spinal block as my pain was so bad as baby was back to back after the spinal block they checked me again I was a 7 so they broke my waters as spinal block would only last 20 mins fast forward to 20 mins I was a 9 and felt everything so the epidural man put a very strong drug in my drip I have no clue what it was and I went completely numb after that I was a 10 after 20 mins off pushing my little man was born weighing 7pound 1oz we are both fine.. apart from my back is pretty bad and I'm having problems So there coming round to check theres no damaged. Yes I would do it all over again meet
