How did you potty train? (Give me tips)

My daughter is 2 and she's definitely ready. She meets all signs.. I bought her a potty months ago and now she's starting to point at it and say "poopoo!!" She has a dry diaper after naps, I've sat her on the potty and she was able to sit for a good amount of time.
Do I keep her near the bathroom? Do I put underwear on or does she walk around with nothing?? How do I start!?

Answer

Put her on the toilet every 30 mins the first day. Have a paper in the bathroom for her to put a sticker on when she goes in the toilet. Have underwear on her for this. After a day or two move up to every hour and keep asking her if she needs to potty. Make a huge deal out of it when she does. Most kids take time. It isn’t gonna happen fast. And keep the pull ups for over night for a while.

Live her in undies.... read the book potty train in 3 days... I am planing on doing that to my two year old... the bad part about me is that he won’t even sit on the toile sit even if it’s a kids one...

I just had my daughter sit on the potty every 30 minutes or so. The week before we potty trained I paid more attention to the times between wet diapers. After nnaps I had her sit on the potty. I gave her a sticker each time she peed and a big sticker each time she pooped. I would jump up and down and get so excited! (I ended up having to get excited that she pottied until she was 4 lol)
We sang a potty song. And didn't really go anywhere for the first week. I let her stay in undies all day. And thankfully she was fully potty trained in 2 weeks.
