Flat nipples and pumping

I've been pumping exclusively for 4 weeks and I'm on the verge of quitting, as my nipples hurt and burn all the time. I breastfed my first and never had this issue.

I've tried size 24, 27 and 30 for medela and none of them feel any better. I've used olive oil, lanolin to try to make sure they slide better. Nothing is working. Because I have flat nipples it's not like I can measure the nipple...because the areola and nipple are kind of one in the same..

Any ideas of something to try?
