Graco DuetConnect Recommended?

Question

So I received the Graco DuetConnect swing/bouncer at my baby shower. I was wondering if anyone suggests this or something else. It had mixed reviews on Targets website which is where it is exclusively sold. Most concerns were about head support... but I know for the mamaroo you have to buy a separate newborn insert. So maybe I just buy something like that? It’s still in the box and I don’t want to take it out until I’m 100% decided.

We have it, but it does not have good head support. We have to prop my daughters head up with blankets and we have to watch her every second she’s in it. We cannot put her in and walk away. It’s getting better as she gains neck control and I think will be great when she’s bigger. She still likes it though and sometimes it’s the only thing that will stop her from screaming. She’s 5 weeks old now. Side note, it’s huge!! It takes up so much space. There are lots of swings that are much more compact.

We had the swing for a month and the motor went out and it stopped swinging. I did more research then and found out this is a common problem for this swing. Thankfully, Graco customer support was great and sent a different swing but it was stressful when the one thing that gave me a break during the day just stopped working!

We had this one and not only did it not support my son enough but it also stopped working after about 6 weeks. It stopped swinging.

We have it and my son loves it. We didn’t start using it until he was 6 weeks old. He takes his naps in it and we never leave him unless we can keep an eye on him

I like the fisher price snugga puppy better than this! I put the whole Grace swing together and didn’t like the way baby looked in it at all! Slumped and in there weird. In the fisher price baby looked a lot better! 
I have no experience with the Mommaroo. I’ve hear mixed reviews there too.

We didn’t have this exact swing, but we had another Graco swing that was very similar and I ended up returning it because I didn’t like the way it supported my son. We also tried a Mamaroo, but he wasn’t impressed with the motions. Our favorite swing by far was the Fisher Price Snuggapuppy🙌

I have this in the box waiting for August! I loved the generic look of it plus the multi directional swinging capability.  I didn’t find a whole lot of options when it came to the multi direction swinging, so this is what we went with. Now I’m doubting my decision 😬
