What should I do?

So I'm 35 weeks and 2 weeks ago I started having contractions and ended up in L&D. I was 1 in a half to 2 cm and 80% effected and had also lost my mucus plug later that week, and still losing pieces. Well the past day or so I've had a increase in discharge to were it's making my underwear fully damp and wet. Some is clear and some is white to yellow. The nurse at my OB office said I can go get checked again or wait it out. My mother thinks I should get check but I just dont know what to do. Help ladies, what would u do? I have had been having more pressure and cramping off and on as well but nothing consistent
