Unless it says “early detection” don’t take it if you’re 7dpo.

The dollar store tests and the 88 cent tests from Walmart and any other cheap tests of that group are NOT made for early testing, you will get a false negative until you’re 4+ weeks. The equate brand tests that say they’re for early testing (the ones with the + with the purple caps, or the ones with the pink caps with just the line) will give you a false positive every time. I know because I’ve taken 15 of those tests (I’m a POASA) and they’ve all come up positive and I’m not pregnant. Also, the tests from clinics like planned parenthood are the basic dip tests that are also not made for early testing. If you’re testing early, request a blood draw from your doctor. So no, we cannot see your “faint line” on a dollar store test at 6 -dpo, and just because you get a negative on a non-early result test does not mean you’re not pregnant. KEEP TESTING LADIES!
