When did you test and get a positive test

I’m 3 days out from my period and scared to test because I don’t want it to be a BFN. When did you test and get a positive? Trying not to test too early. 
We BDed everyday In my window so I’m feeling really good about this month.. but also don’t want to get upset if it’s negative. This process is so hard!!

I didn’t get even a faint line with a first response until the day my period was due (15 dpo)

I tested 15dpo when period was due. It was an obvious positive but not dark. I’d guess I wouldn’t have seen a faint until 12dpo.
