Allergies? Is this normal?

I’m allergic to cats and was with one for about 4 hours last night at my boyfriends house. My throat started hurting then but I woke up this morning and my throat is still extremely sore. Is this normal?

Answer

Yes it’s normal. Take some Benadryl or another allergy medicine to help. I’m allergic to animal dander and I let my cat sleep with me a lot so usually I’ll wake up to a stuffed nose and itchiness but it’ll go away throughout the day when I’m not with my kitty.
