Mini IVF- opinions please!

Daphne

I am 25 years old, no infertility issues, my husband just has a very low sperm count after his vasectomy reversal. We have been ttc for almost 3 years with no success. I have began my IVF journey and am set to have my egg retrieval August 24th or 29th. I have to choose between two protocols- Clomid vs Denmark. With the clomid protocol there is less medication and they typically retrieve less eggs, but higher quality eggs. Since Clomid has a short term negative effect on the uterine lining, I would have to freeze any embryos and transfer them 3+ months later. With the Denmark protocol, they do not use clomid, but Follistim and microdose HCG. Typically more eggs are retrieved using this method, and I have the option to transfer the embryos 3 days later OR freeze them for transfer 3 months later. The clinic has a slightly higher success rate with the fresh transfer in my age group but I have heard that the frozen transfers are typically more successful. Since I am young they recommended the Denmark protocol so I would have plenty of embryos for future use.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated!!
