So on August 25, 2016 I first got my nexplanon inserted. Due to the fact that I go to college in a whole other state, I won’t be back home on the actual expiration date of my nexplanon so I’m getting it removed this Thursday and I’m getting a new one! Problem is I had sex Sunday morning.. so I’m scared if I could get pregnant when they remove it? I’ve read too many articles saying that it’s possible.. but nexplanon doesn’t leave your system until 72 hours.. and I’m getting a new one put in.. so has this happened to anyone? Should I be worried?
