Hey mamas I just wanted to share our little guy with you all! Our little guy didn’t make it to his due date which we were really pushing for because my husband and I were both born on the 9th of a month and Wyatt’s due date was another 9. But I called the 31st it was our 7 year dating anniversary date so now we have a whole new reason to celebrate that date!

Last Monday I lost tons of mucus plug and a little blood Tuesday morning. Fast forward to Thursday and I had my weekly appointment where everything seemed normal ( I had mentioned to my doctor that I pretty much felt like I peed myself the last three days at school.. I’m a teacher). We didn’t think much of it and he suggested that he thought Wyatt was about 7/ 7 and a half pounds. Friday morning I woke up having to use the restroom at 430 in the morning. By the time I got to the bathroom my underwear were drenched and shortly after my stomach and back started cramping. I went to see my doctor around 845 to check and see if my water broke earlier and he did a furring test which came back negative for my water breaking and he checked to see if I was dilated which I wasn’t at all. We went to leave the office and I literally peed all over the exam room and couldn’t hold it to run to the bathroom (I was mortified). Finally get out use the bathroom walk out of the office with a sheet around my waist and headed home. I went through half a package of depends because I kept leaking and I was having strong contractions. They finally got to 5 minutes apart for an hour and we’re getting unbearable so I laid down and they jumped to 8-10 minutes apart so I got back up and down to 4/5 minutes apart for another hour. My doctor said okay let’s try to go to triage and see what they say. We got to triage and before I was even checked they asked about pain method I was going with and I yelled I need an epidural (I was planning on going natural but my back contractions were unbearable at that point). A doctor comes in to check me and he says wow 5 and a half cm and I think your water may have ruptured because I feel hair. They were admitting me immediately and right when they went to page for the epidural they had an emergency c section who needed him. They wheeled me down to our room and I began begging for the doctor and trying to bribe him with buying him dinner 😂😂. Finally he got there and of course half way through getting my epidural I had a contraction which was the worst because I had to stay completely still. My water began to gush all over and when they went to swing me back into the bed it went everywhere (I said sorry welcome to seaworld we have a splash zone doctor 😂😂). After my epidural things went so much better because I was calmer and joking with my nurses. After two hours of pushing this big buy came flying out. My doctor told me afterwords that the day before he thought he was bigger than what he told me but didn’t want me to panic (I totally would have so it’s a good thing he fibbed 😂). It was a birth to remember and lots of funny moments/conversations had. We are so in love 🥰
