Severe separation anxiety...

My 2 year old was completely FINE going to the play room at the gym for a few days over the course of two weeks. All of a sudden, she FREAKS out, crying to the point of gagging and almost throwing up. I couldn't go to the gym, I had to take her home- twice this past week. I guess now I know I definitely can't send her to daycare. She's ALWAYS been like this, even when she was 2 months old. I don't know what to do. Anyone have experience with this and any advice for anything that has helped your LO cope with separation?
