Price for a babysistter?!

My son is 2 months old and his baby sitter is his aunt (so's sister) how much Would be reasonable per hour. (We live in the same house as well)

Is it every now and then or nanny type situation?i think that would help how you got about it. I would start by asking her for sure. If she lives with you, are you providing her with free rent etc that may factor in depending on both of your situations. 
 My sister babysits every now and then and won’t accept money so I’ll do smaller things like order uber eats while she’s there, give her movie tickets or fill her gas tank etc. she’s 25 so it’s pretty easy to find fun things. That way I feel feel better about getting her something she’ll use since she won’t take money.

I would ask what she is comfortable with as far as pay. We have a friend watching our daughter 2 days a week and we are paying her 50 dollars a day working from 8-4. The friend is home during the day (working but not... long back story) so she was happy to have something to do. I asked her before we got into more details what she was comfortable with being paid. She said she would do it for 20 dollars a day but I felt like that was way too little since she leaves 30 minutes away. 
I would think since she is family she would be okay with not getting a ton of money... at least in my opinion. At least from my experience she is going to come over... feed the baby, watch TV, eat, put the baby down for a nap, keep the baby safe. Not saying they dont deserve a decent pay but just my two cents from my experience.
