Heart rate literally has nothing to do with gender.

I wouldn’t go off the heartbeat! My sons was in the 170s and my daughters was on the 150s. I had a cousin pregnant around the same time as me when I was pregnant with our daughter. Her babies heart rate was almost the same as my daughters and she had a boy!

Yeah My son started out in the high 170’s and is now finally in the 130’s in the third trimester. We expected a girl at first due to the “heart beat method” but nope! Baby boy in August!
