Question for those of you who have experienced a mc

L

My husband and I have had quite the ttc journey, but I’m not oblivious... I know I’ve been luckier than some. I decided after my second miscarriage I would never post a traditional announcement, bump progress pics, or nursery pics on social media. I know how much those posts sting. I know how much it sucks to see someone’s due date and know it was supposed to be your own. How hard it is to see perfectly decorated nurseries when you’re no longer able to finish yours. I knew a girl who had a mc and posted her announcement saying “I know how much pain these posts cause women who are still trying”.... then proceeded to post picture after picture of her growing belly and nursery. I was pissed at how much of a hypocrite (I thought) she was.

SO, if you have experienced loss(es) are you in the “I had to watch other women announce on social media, I’m doing it big when it’s my turn” camp? Or are you going to try being more respectful of other women when/if you announce? I want to be as respectful as possible, but can’t figure out how to do that (that is, if this current babe’s heart keeps beating strong).
