Tests after miscarriage?

Hello ladies. I just suffered a chemical, and I have a few questions, hoping some of you can help. What tests did they run after you had your miscarriage/chemical? What was the diagnosis and how were you treated? 
I know its hard to write about, but this thread will help us ladies suffering understand what's going on, what questions we should be asking the doctor, and how we can have some success.

They usually dont run test after a chemical or even after your first miscarriage. They chalk it up to chromosome abnormalities.
If you have multiple miscarriages then that's when they will test. 
I'm not sure if I'm right but I dont think they test after a chemical at all. I didnt even go to the doctors. It's just the egg never implanted nothing really to do.

It took until after 2 chemicals and 2 miscarriages to get a recurrent miscarriage panel.  I just recently had my third miscarriage and just today was referred to a fertility specialist to see if it’s my uterus, genetic, or something different.  This has been a rough 18 months.

When i miscarried, my dr just had me come in and tested my HCG and progesterone levels then i came back two days later and they checked again. I guess it’s to make sure levels are going down to confirm miscarriage and to also see if a D&C is required. I was early enough where I didn’t need to, but I think they check levels too to make sure it isn’t ectopic. Hope this helps. I’m so sorry for your loss.
