Hospital bag, ADVICE?!?

Okay, ladies I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and I just want everything ready incase something happens. 
WHAT did YOU pack for the babies & your bag to the hospital???

I way overpacked. The hospital provides diapers, wipes, a little hat and swaddle blanket for baby. They also provided me with slipper socks (fall risk dt epidural) so I didnt need  to bring my own. I brought a ton of clothes but was in so much pain I just changed hospital gowns lol. All I really used was my toothbrush and an outfit for the baby. So basically an outfit or two for baby, maybe an outfit for you, and your phone charger.

Babys bag: 2 diapers, wipes, a blanket (for the carseat if it is cool at all) and a coming home out fit.  It's mainly to get us from the hospital to our house. The hospital will provide what baby needs while we are there (check...most do...some dont)
I have a set of PJs (I dont like hospital gowns and couldn't wait to change out of it with my first), slipper socks, and an outfit to come home in.  I also have hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste etc but it's always in my makeup bag so I'll just toss that in when it is time to go.  My bag also has 2 shirts, 2 pants, 2 underwear and husbands toothbrush/etc.  Again, they provide the awful disposable granny panties, pads, etc there so I'm not going to go nuts
If you are going to nurse you might want to being your nursing pillow. This is something different than my first. I had a REALLY hard time nursing my first and it got so much easier when my husband got me my mybreastfriend pillow.  I'm taking it with me this time in hopes of easier first few sessions.  (I know this isnt a bag item, but thought it was worth mentioning!!)

Honestly I looked up a list online and went off that, but I didn’t use 70% of the stuff I packed. 
I got to the hospital at 12:30pm, my son was born at 6:45pm. We had to stay at the hospital a full 24 hours after he was born and then we stayed another night because we passed the discharge time due to him being born in the evening. So we were there for 3 days and 2 nights. 
All I wore was the mesh hospital underwear, nursing bras and sweatpants. Didn’t bother with a shirt because my son and lactation consultant were at my boobs constantly. Of course I also had clothes to come home in. 
My baby was diapered and swaddled in a blanket the whole time we were at the hospital. The hospital gave us diapers and wipes. The first time he was put in clothes was when we were leaving. 
I also used my phone charger, my own pillow/blanket (BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW) and deodorant, toothbrush, shampoo, etc. I didn’t even use my water bottle because I was constantly being given water in a styrofoam cup. I also brought my own snacks. 
If you will be having your SO or a family member staying at the hospital with you, encourage them to bring extra pillows or blankets or something soft to lay on top of. My boyfriend has issues with his back and even with a few pillows to lay on he was in pain, the little couch he slept on was hard as a rock.

Travel sized bathroom accessories, a dress, tank, and pj shorts, slippers and a couple pairs of socks for me.  2 sleep gowns, take home outfit, a personal blanket and couple socks for baby.  They didn’t provide a pacifier for my second so I’m bringing one of those as well.  Everything else they have there.  I learned after my first to keep it simple, less stuff to haul and I didn’t use 1/2 of what I brought.  They were always taking off baby’s clothes for checks so using the little half shirts or the open feet sleep gowns with a diaper and a blanket was the easiest.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and just packed babies stuff really think I've over packed for her but I've got 5 sleep suits 3 long sleeved vest and 3 short sleeved vests 3 pairs of leggings 2 romper suits a cardigan couple of pairs of socks and mittens and coming home outfit

Clothes for you and baby. Bath stuff, tooth brush/ soap. Socks, diapers and hair stuff for me
