Sterilising bottles for breast milk?

Are people still sterilising their bottles? I’ve read so many conflicting bits of information. Thank you!

Every time I wash. I use the sterilizing bags tho....

I do every few washes, I’m not as strict about it as I was with my first, but he doesn’t really use a bottle. I just make sure my pump parts are clean. If a bottle sits for a day or two before it gets washed, I definitely sterilize it. (He doesn’t use many bottles and I don’t pump too much anymore, so sometimes bottles sit for a day or so before I wash them, just so I have a sink full, then I sterilize them)

I use the sterilizing bags because it's just been routine since the beginning. For breast pump parts and bottles when we use them.
