Joining the fur baby club again!

My boss rescued this precious kitten from the middle of the road a couple of weeks ago but her kids are allergic to cats so they couldn't keep him. She asked if we wanted to keep him but my parents weren't sure if they were ready. We offered to take him in and try to find him a new home though. It didn't take long for all of us to fall in love with his goofyness. So now after being pet free for just over a year after losing our precious 13 year old lab, we are adopting this little fella!

I can't wait to see this adorable kitten grow up and I'm excited for this new journey of being a cat lover. There will always be a special place in my heart for dogs but who could resist this little guy?

Next step is getting him to the vet and picking a new name for him. My brother and I are thinking about naming him Jaws cause all he wants to do is nibble on our fingers. But we just aren't sure yet!

If you have any advice on how to care for cats as they get older that would be greatly appreciated! My parents have had cats before but I've only ever had dogs. I've been on Pinterest and looked at cat climbing walls and know he needs toys and a scratching post. We already have food and a litter box too. The internet can only tell you so much though! It would be nice to hear from people with personal experience 😁
