How to keep baby clothes smelling fresh?

I’m going to wash her clothes soon and get everything ready, we’re buying her a new dresser we have a small apartment so not sure to get her 2 mini dressers that are plastic or one regular wood dresser but anyways how can I keep the clothes smelling good cause I know sometimes one you put the clothes in the dresser they can change the smell

They dont need to smell good or fresh, they just need to be clean. The fewer fragrances and chemicals the better. I just use natural baby detergent for her clothes and no fabric softener. At least for the first few months

I got one of those little moth balls to hang in closet and to put in the dresser. Smelt good and fresh!
