When is the right time to trim?

So I have refrained from shaving or trimming private parts since week 24 and I am now in week 35. This was particularly because I believe some hair there keep you away from infections. Now I keep thinking that my water can break anytime (ftm) and I may need to rush to hospital and I don’t want to look untidy once I am in.
What do you ladies think is the right time to trim down there? And I am talking about both anus and vaginal area. I don’t wanna shave. I am very susceptible to UTIs and so far I have managed to stay away from that by not applying any cream or gel for shaving.

I’m in Monday for induction and I haven’t shaved since 16 weeks it looks scary but that will be the last thing on your mind once your waters go lol 😂

I started getting Brazilians. I have one scheduled for 34w3d and I'll book another one around 38.5 weeks and that'll be it

I shave every 1-2 weeks. My hair grows slow down there. I’ll shave again in a couple weeks and that’ll be the last time. I don’t use shaving cream, I use the Venus razors with aloe made in them for sensitive skin. I’ve been doing that since highschool and I love them.

I’m 36 weeks and somehow managing to still be able to shave down there 😄 I do it for myself because I hate having hair down there. I find it very uncomfortable. My husband laughs and thinks I’m crazy to still be doing it. I told him he will have to do it for me if there comes a day I can’t do it. It’s definitely getting harder lol

Just leave it alone .. doctors dont care about how much hair you have down there its natural your body grows it .. its actually unnatural to shave

As stated, you don't need to shave at all. It's really a personal preference. If you want to shave for you, it depends on how fast your hair grows. It will also probably get harder to do when baby drops, and that could happen any week.
