So I’m about 2.5 years into my Nexplanon BC. At the beginning I had NO periods. No spotting nothing. About 5 or so months ago I got them back and since then they’ve been twice a month, with heavy bleeding, and seriously crippling cramps. I’ve heard of it “wearing off” (sending out less micrograms of etonogestrel) but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced it “wearing off” like more mood swings, more irritability, worse periods, etc. This is my first round of Nexplanon so I’ve never experienced this before. Just wanted to know if anybody else has had this happen when nearing the end of Nexplanon.
