Maternity leave & pay?! 🧐

Hello 
My company’s handbook has the below table to explain maternity pay but I can’t for the life of me figure it out. Will I get my full salary for any period of time? If so, how long? Any help would be appreciated as I have read it ten times and can’t figure it out 😰

If circumstances deem applicable (which is normally depending on length of time you have been in the company or/and position you hold) you are entitled to the statutory maternity pay but they will top that up to meet your wage for 18 weeks.
But you will have to find out what will make it applicable

Yea I agree, first 18 weeks are full pay from what that states, then down to statutory until 40 weeks.
