Advice or insight on restructuring bedtime routine?
My son is 4.5 months old and teething hardcore. Since he was born we do bath, bottle, and bedtime.
Now that he is getting teeth however I want to brush his teeth at bath time and not give him a bedtime bottle. The obvious answer is to feed him before his bath, which I’ve been trying, but he still melts down and insists he needs a bottle at bedtime even if I know he’s not hungry. He will not accept a pacifier either.
I don’t want him to get cavities and I don’t know if I’m overreacting about this or not. My husband doesn’t understand why I’m trying to force the issue, especially since he still wakes up at 4 am to eat anyway, so I wanted to get an idea of what some of you ladies would do and have done with your kids.
