My grandfather died a cou days before my birthday when I turned 13 and his birthday is like 2 weeks after mine so I tend to go back to grieving for the entire month of August. I never liked celebrating my birthday that much but I really don't like it now.

My birthday is cursed. Ever since I turned 19. On my 19th birthday, our bathroom caught fire, while my mom and brother were in there and they got burnt up pretty bad! And I seen it all and there was nothing I could do, she shut the door so the fire wouldn’t spread. 20th birthday, my mom hit a deer and totaled her car. 21st birthday, just had a baby so I just sat home. 22nd birthday, was fine. Went to the movies, but nothing was special about any of it.

Me. Lol it’s today actually. I’m working, 34 weeks prego and don’t feel good. The only time it’s a good day is if I take a trip and I’m away on it.

Me. I also get really depressed around my birthday so I never wanna do anything. I always wanna cancel plans. Idk. I guess I feel like I’m not that special ya know 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven’t celebrated since I turned 21. I think it’s extremely immature to celebrate past that point.
