Next month will be our FIRST cycle doing IUI any tips?

I’m still young so I don’t think I will have a problem conceiving my pelvic ultrasound everything looked normal. But I’m still very nervous we are doing IUI with doner sperm because my husband is unable to have kids(found out after 2 years worth of fertility doctors) . Now while this is semi affordable we’re looking At about 1500$ a cycle with IUI keenly, we want to make our chances the best we can. I know it might not happen the first cycle but I’m praying second or 3rd cycle it will. Did you do anything to help your odds or Any foods that might help with getting pregnant?

I guess I’m so scared because we tried having a baby natural so long before we started fertility treatments I just feel like I’ll have something wrong with me too and I’ll never get pregnant.

My mom says I’m healthy I shouldn’t worry but I’m so scared! Right now our budget is 6,000$ in the fertility aspect so about 3-4 months of IUI before we have to get a loan for money to try again. Any tips? I’m also going to have to monitor ovulation like crazy to make the timing perfect. I’m going to be opk crazy.
