No fetal pole or heartbeat at 6w6d?

It's been a really emotional week and lots of different terms have been tossed around. Anyone ever have this and still carry a healthy full term baby? I'm trying to stay as positive as possible.

I had a ultrasound at 6 weeks 2days they saw just the sac. I'm now 11 weeks went in on Saturday and had a heart beat of 162 💕it's just a little early so that is normal don't worry right now

🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ me! I went to my OB and I was supposed to be 6wks 4 days and we saw nothing. No heartbeat or fetal pole. I was asked if I knew the dates I thought I was ovulating and my last period. My OB didn’t say much but scheduled another ultrasound. It was the week of thanksgiving. I went back the first week of december in and there was baby and heartbeat.  I was pretty positive I conceived 10/30/15. My OB said I ovulated later than I thought.  I now have a 2.5 year old. My last pregnancy was the same thing. This time I was on vacation when they usually bring you in and I got home at 8 weeks. This time there was a embryo but, it was only measuring 6.5 weeks so again I must have ovulated later than I thought. I have a 4 month old from that pregnancy.

Maybe you’re not as far as you think I’d wait it out and stay positive

That's really early, and if you are even a few days off (I was a week off) that can affect a lot. Have another ultrasound in about a month, that will give you more info.

Just wanted to update everyone. I'm now 12 weeks according the ultrasound done a couple of weeks after this post. The very next ultrasound was measuring 5 days ahead but they didnt change my due date so I'm sticking with February 1st. Either way it's a healthy growing baby!

Why are you having an ultrasound that early? Esp if it was abdominal. You wouldnt see anything

Sounds like your dates must be off a few weeks
