Can’t Conceive & Devastated
My husband and I have been trying to conceive since we got married in 2017. We’ve had no luck, not even a hopeful moment. I assumed I had PCOS because it runs in my family. Finally we decided to get to the bottom of it and find out why we’re having so much trouble. (My husband has a son so we didn’t think it was him) Anyways, my doctor did tests upon tests and everything came back 100% normal, so no PCOS. But after an ultrasound to check my ovaries, I ended up having a giant cyst on my left ovary, covering over half of it; and had no clue it was there. It was the size of a basketball with 2 liters of fluid in it. I’m a week post op of having it removed. My doctor also checked my tubes while in surgery and they are perfect along with my right ovary. She was also able to save 1/2 of the left ovary and said it should still work fine. Could this cyst that I had really be the reason I can’t conceive? Has anyone had experience with conceiving after a cyst removal. Cause other than the cyst, that’s now gone, I’m supposedly 100% healthy.
