Open Spina Bifida

Okay so I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. I'm seen by 2 clinics, my ob at UF north and a high risk clinic (ROC). okay so UF does this mychart portal thing where you can log on and check appts and also all your test results. Awesome, I get an email every time. However, last week, the day before I went out of town for a week for my baby shower, I got test results for open spina bifida. I screened positive and it says I have a 1 in 10 chance. I am terrified. I thought it was tested for much earlier, and it says I was tested at 16 weeks. Now I'm nervous, why didnt anyone call me? I got no phone call. Just so happened to see an email telling me I had new test results in! I had an appt at ROC today and baby is growing perfectly in the 50th percentile. So I asked. Hey I got test results claiming a 1 in 10 for spina bifida. (I had done some research and seeing as how you can tell from an ultrasound, I was hoping they could calm my nerves since they are the only ones who do ultrasounds for me). He told me I need to bring the blood tests in next time I come back, because they treat those patients differently. So I dont feel any better about this. Did anyone else have high risk for spina bifida and a perfectly fine baby? Anyone have it treated while they were infants and they've grown up okay? I just never pictured myself in the position. I have an appt with my ob at UF on the 11th so I supposed we will talk more about it.

I'm just curious about any experiences!! I also attatched the results!
