The cause of my infertility

Jessica

Yesterday (6-5-19) my husband and I went to our first fertility appointment. The doctor is awesome I learned a lot with this one appointment. Turns out my eczema is the reason why we can’t get pregnant. My eczema is so severe that it’s effecting my insides. The dr believes that my eczema is attacking the egg preventing it from attaching to the walls.

The reason why I’m posting is simply by the fact someone might be going through the same thing. You might have found a solution or maybe you’re like me and you just found out and you’re trying to figure out what to do.

Update (10-22-19)

We have found a method that both doctors and I agreed on. In July I started my first doses of Dupixent it’s a bi weekly injection just under the skin. This injection is like a stem cell type of medicine. With in the first month of the injection BOOM! pregnant. These injection actually helped. Sadly on September 8 I miscarried. Shortly after I realized I missed an injection so I was two weeks without. I got back on tract with my injections the last week of September. My skin has been a mess up until a few day ago. Well I was feeling light headed as if I was buzzed so I thought I would take a hpt. And what would you know pregnant again!

These injections are allowing my body to attached the egg to my uterus. What we are doing differently this time is I take progesterone nightly and stay on top of my injections.

I didn’t want to say anything the first time around as they say the 1st trimester is sensitive but this time I want to be open as possible. I want to help any women who is also struggling.
