Lifejacket needed?

Question

Would you give your two year old a  lifejacket to play in a pool like this? I was planning on it incase he  slipped and fell. He’s going to be playing with his 3 year old cousins and I know a lot of falling may happen. We don’t own any other flotation device. Thanks!

No, a life jacket would probably be more dangerous in this situation.. like if he falls face first it will be harder for him to get up

No, doesnt look deep enough to float in. Constant and close adult supervision would be more useful.

I wouldn’t because it doesn’t look deep enough to actually have him float. If you fall face first into a couple inches of water, I don’t think a floatie is going to do anything.

Me personally I wouldn't but whatever you feel is best. My 22mth old has 3 different life jackets and so far I feel shes safer without them because if she falls belly down in any of them she cant get her face up out of the water. We were at the lake and had one on her and she was only about knee deep and she slipped and couldn't get back up because it was causing her to float  face down if we hadn't been right next to her it wouldn't have been good.

No. We have one similar and its honestly pretty shallow. My son was 1 when we had ours never use a life vest.

I had this for my girl ( till the birds landed on it and popped it :( ) and she loved it. She had it from 3. No life jacket needed it's very shallow, wouldn't even reach knees. It's a great pool
