What can babies see?

My 3 month old will be in his bed, I’ll know he’s awake just trying to see if he’ll fall back to sleep on his own. He’ll lay there completely fine for awhile and then out of nowhere start the arms shaking, tensed up scared scream cry. I know babies can see things that we can’t but I have a very strong feeling something not so good is scaring my boy every night☹️ Just seeing if any one else has experienced something like this

It’s probably just the realization you aren’t there it’s quiet it’s dark and he wants his mama.

Sounds like your baby needs a good tight swaddle to keep them snuggled up like their in the womb. My daughter sometimes does the same thing. But once I swaddle her right she knocks out.

How close is his bed to you? When they’re this young they need to be close by. I have mine in a bassinet right next to my side if the bed so I can be laying down and have my arm on him to help settle him. They know when you’re close and when you’re not.
