HCG at 10 DPO

Was due for lab work today (6/7), had an HCG added on just to see. I’m 10 DPO. HCG came back at 2.4, which is considered negative. Doctor said we can check it again Monday, when AF is due if I don’t start (6/10). Anyone had anything similar and ended up being pregnant?
