Okay so idk how to ask this without sounding terrible. Please bear with me.

So me and a new friend were out shopping and it was very busy. She said to me 'ugh theres ghetto people every where'. I told her want wasn't a politically correct thing to say and she says 'so what is the proper term to address that type of person?' and I didn't have an answer.

*this isn't about race there we're several different races in this group *

She's talking about people who talk with a certain dialect.. Like improper speech /slang, dress a certain way, act....' trashy '... Smoke... Fight a lot...cause trouble at the mall.. Live in a bad neighborhood... Etc etc i think you get the picture I hope?

What do tell her? God I'm not trying to sound as bad as she does but I kinda don't even know what to tell her. Obviously she shouldn't be targeting a group anyway but like what do you call people like in this demographic/ group?
