Give baby water?

Do you guys give your baby water at this point? And if so, how much do you give them?

I have,  between diluting his prune juice a tad bit and with meals if he refuses the boob . He has struggled with pooing since starting solids so a tad bit of water and prune juice has done justice . How many ounces I only do 1-2oz and really just one ounce because I try to offer the boob more .

We do! Our baby doesn’t poop too often so our pediatrician recommended 1-2 ounces per day. She loves it and playing with the sippy cup. By 6 months he also recommended introducing water in a sippy cup with water anyway.

No, not yet. It’s really not needed. Usually start with a sippy cup with water around 9 months.

Gave mine about half and ounce once a day just because I was worried that he might get dehydrated while having diarrhea for a few days. He didn't but it set my mind at ease. Plus he got to practice with his sippy cup and he seems to like it.

Just started to now but she won’t drink from a silly cup so I just drop it in her mouth with a straw

I put water in his sippy cup with solids. He doesn't swallow a lot of it, but it's good practice with the sippy and he enjoys it.

Yeah. Sips throughout the day. He grabs at my glass every time I drink. Been doing since 5months so we just let him take a swig here and there. He’s pretty good with a cup now.

I give my son about 2 oz in his bottle and his sippy cup every day. He drinks what he wants and usually just plays with the rest. He’s never drank all of it and it really helps him poop.
