Just curious of the correlation between bigger babies and the mother’s physical attributes!

Scientific research shows that baby weight IS is positively correlated with how much weight the mother gains during pregnancy. So it doesn’t matter if you start off larger or underweight, what matters is how much you gain after you are pregnant.

My son was 8lbs 10oz and born at 39 +0 weeks. I’m 5’3” and weighed 115-120lbs prepregnancy. I work with a woman who is super thin, and she has three kids, all of whom were 9-10lb babies.

i was 130 pre-pregnancy and i’m 5’2, i was 170 after giving birth and then dropped all the weight and then some within 2-3 weeks! my daughter was 9lbs exactly. to be fair, i was 10lbs 6oz when i was born. also my daughters father is 6’8 and he was 8lbs 8oz when he was born. we were kind of expecting a big baby

Now what you eat does. 
Large people tend to eat a lot of carbs. 
Small people do not. 
Carbs make for larger babies.
