UTI medicine making me sick

After my first appointment with the OB they told me I had a UTI and prescribed me medication to clear it up. But everytime I take the pill I throw up so much. Anyone else experience this?

I have take one pill every 12 hours for the next week.

Should I call and mention it to my OB or just suck it up and continue the medication. I'm not throwing up the pill when I vomit so I'm hoping it dissolves enough beforehand to do the job.
