Transverse baby??

Question

Anybody’s kid not head down? My baby was head down until this last ultrasound. Now she’s transverse (lying on her side). My dr said she will give me up to two weeks to see if she turns on her own and then they will try to turn her manually. If they can’t then I’ll have to have a c section.

My child has been breech since my 28 week ultrasound and she doesn’t plan to turn she doesn’t have much room to turn either way already weighing over 5 lbs so we’ve already planned on doing a c section when I’m 38 weeks.

At my 20 week ultrasound he was transverse and he hasn’t budged except to flip so his head is on the right now instead of the left. I’m 32 weeks and my doctor said they won’t do anything until 37 weeks. If you do end up deciding to do the cephalic version- opt for the epidural so you don’t have to deal with the pain. I’ve heard it can be more painful than contractions. There’s also the option of seeing a prenatal chiropractor that is certified in the Webster Technique. It’s a non invasive way to help your pelvis adjust to encourage the baby to move into the proper position.

Yes! So my baby has been head down since like 26 weeks. At my 34 week appt he was butt down. And again at my 36 week appt (im almost 37) he's Transversed. Its so frusterating bc hes been head down almost the whole time. And im getting induced in 2 weeks so if he doesn't flip before then ill get a c section. ( my Dr told me she wasnt even gonna try and move him )
