Real contractions. How would you describe them?!

I might be feeling my first ever but maybe I’m crazy. Lol but they are actually painful. Feels like the top of my stomach has something stretching out of it or something heck I dunno how to describe it but then I’m super nauseous.

Real contractions to me felt like someone pulling a belt around me super tight then getting stabbed... rolls in, holds, then rolls away

Started with a weird twinge in the middle of my abdomen and then what felt like cramps and they just got so bad within the hour! Waiting for it to start with this pregnancy but nothing yet, I get a few pains but doesn’t feel the same yet and not consistent. Feels like babies just kicking something now and again 😂

They start like period pain, mild and very low down. You’re not sure if it’s the real thing. Then they get increasingly more intense and when you can’t talk or walk through them it’s time to go to hospital (if it’s your first). Believe me when you know you know 🙈

Honestly surprisingly I’ve been having Braxton Hicks and not knew that’s what was going on when I described it to the doctor she said that’s what it is... and she told me not to be surprised if I don’t feel them strong when it’s the real thing... so I say go with your gut everybody is different so you never know just hearing others experiences...

Mine mostly just felt like bad period cramps and lower backache. It wasn't until after my water broke that I started having serious pain
