Diaper Stockpile Help?

We’re starting our diaper/wipe stockpile early so we don’t have to worry about it later on. I’ve looked up lots of different charts to go off but they’re all different. From your own experiences, how many did you go through in the first year? An estimate between size NB, 1,2,3? I’ve already bought about 150 diapers size NB and over 1000 wipes. Some say 84 NB diapers others say 200+ NB. It’s all just confusing. TIA!!

I saw a post before saying that every time she would go to the store she would pick up a $25 gift card. That’s for her diapers and wipes. She said she didn’t know what sizes to buy, so she just bought gift cards instead. I think it’s a great idea. Putting the money aside to be able to buy the diapers later on as needed.

It all depends on how big your LO is when they're born and how fast they grow, and whether their butt is big and requires you to go up a size before they're in the lbs range! 
This chart was fairly accurate for me.
I ended up not needing as many size 3 and 4, because my son had a big butt and thighs and was in size 5 before he ever hit the weight limit. You can't trust the lbs range, all babies are shaped so differently!

I used maybe 150 NB. I would get more size 2 and 3

Just keep gift receipts and you can exchange them as needed.

I couponed and stockpiled like crazy but now that LO is here I really like pampers and huggies the best. So I had my husband return a lot of them for gift cards. If you have a target registry they let you no problem. I would say maybe go the gift card route for the diapers. I did however stockpile a million packs of wipes!

This really depends on how big your baby is. My son is still in newborn at 5 weeks old but I know some people who never needed newborn.

Personally we’ll get one like 140 pack or so of NB diapers and just pick up more if needed and size 1 maybe about 300 to start off with. Don’t want to get too many because I don’t know what will work for my baby and I also don’t want to be left with half a box of diapers that he’s grown out of so we would rather just buy as we go.
