Should I take leftover progesterone?

I just took a pregnancy test two days ago and I’m pregnant. I can’t get into my dr for a week. I had a miscarriage 6 months ago and have a ton of my leftover progesterone. It’s the weekend and I can’t get my dr on the phone until Monday. Should I start taking progesterone or wait? Any chance it could hurt the baby? Or should I take it preventatively until I can get in? I’m on the edge.
