How did your baby’s poo change after starting solids?

My little guy has been on solids twice a day for 2 weeks now, with some snacks in between. His poop started off thicker. This week I saw a nugget here and there. Just now he had a solid poop. Like an adult poop. It was soft and he didn’t seem to struggle with it. The color looks ok. I’m just surprised to see a poop like that so soon. Is this normal?  He is still drinking as much milk everyday so I can’t imagine he is dehydrated.

Maybe it changed earlier than you expected because you are feeding him solids quite frequently. Snacks are not necessary until 10/11 months. Two meals a day at this age is plenty.

Thanks ladies. My guy is pooping out solid-ish poops. He had a huge one yesterday. Most of them have been small and mushy-ish. Today was the first day he drank like 6oz less then he normal does. But today was the first day we ate three times a day. Its also been like 90-95F degrees here the last three days so I’m just hoping he is getting enough fluids.

She will now go 2-4 days between poops and before it was every morning like clockwork. It’s also more solid/a peanut butter texture. And it STINKS so much worse. lol. Ahhhh the joys of parenthood where you talk about poop consistency 🤣🤣🤣 wouldn’t change it for the world.

Stinks so bad😭 it’s mushy instead of runny now too and the color changes based on what she eats.
