Spotting? When to go to the ER

Question

I’ve spotted off and on after bowl movements but this morning I spotted with just urine and now the brown/pink has turned into this. Should I go in? This is my second pregnancy and it’s completely different from my first.

Call your OB. The ER is for when yiur life is danger, not spotting during pregnancy. They arent OBs. 
They'll take a pregnancy test, MAYBE give you a QUICK ultrasound that they might not show you, and send you home telling you that it may be fine or it may not be but only time will tell. Theyll be vague, so that they dont tell you wrong info. And theyll charge you hundreds, if not thousands, to do it after you spend hours waiting because youre a very low priority patient. 
Your OB can actually tell you something useful, at a much lower price.

I’d say call your OB, I had red spotting at 8 1/2 weeks with my first it was Christmas so my doctors was closed I did go to the ER & they ran an ultrasound & checked my HGC levels. My bleeding was coming from between my uterus & placenta. They told me a lot of women bleed but if it’s a miscarriage, sadly there’s really nothing to do.

I would definitely go to the er. While there isn’t anything that can do they can do an ultrasound and lab tests to check on the baby.

I went to the ER with bleeding on Friday and they did an internal exam, an ultrasound and bloodwork. Not sure where some people here are from where the ER doesn't help 🤷🏼‍♀️ the doctor's told me I made the right choice to come in. An OB on staff came and went over everything as well. Turned out everything looked fine thank goodness ❤ best to be safe than sorry. Do what you're comfortable with, good luck!

I had this x1000000 due to a sub chorionic hemorrhage. Since it’s the weekend I would say go to er. St least they can run bloodwork and ultrasound. But does cost a lot more

I had very similar, but even heavier around 11.5 weeks on a weekend. Called my doctor and she said to take it easy and stay hydrated. Recommended urgent care for an ultrasound only if i began having intense cramping or the bleeding was as heavy or heavier than my heaviest period flow, otherwise call Monday morning for an appointment. 
It ended up being my placenta laying across my cervix and it has since moved away. 
My doctor and ultrasound tech both always say anything goes in first trimester. They’ve seen everything from no bleeding and bad news to heavy bleeding and baby being just fine. 
Are you having any cramping? Try not to stress too much. Although it’s scary seeing that, I personally would just call your ob, there should be someone on call and not bother with the ER unless severe cramping or very heavy bleeding.

Definitely call your OB first before going in they know more about whats going! Plus if you go into the ER it could cost an arm and a leg but if you start bleeding enough blood to fill a pad in an hour or less and start to get dizzy definitely go in. All the ER will do is make you pee in a cup, draw blood and do an ultrasound. I’m only saying that because I did go into the ER with a pregnancy and that’s all they did and the bill took all of our savings to pay off

I’d say call your hospital birth center and ask to speak to on call OB and ask for their advice if your OB is closed.
