How long will 198 pack diapers last?

I’m trying to decide if I should buy one pack or two packs for the first month. I want to get an amazon subscription but I don’t know how often I will need to purchase. Will a 198 pack of diapers last for one month?

I agree with what other posters have said, you will need a lot!
Also, just wondering, what size are you ordering? Our daughter wasn’t particularly large (7lbs 14oz) but we’ve used size 1 diapers since birth. We had to exchange our unopened boxes of newborn diapers.

I have averaged 10 changes a day since she was born so for me that wouldn't last a month it would be 19 days so I would need 2 to last a full 30/31 day month

That would last me about a month for my almost 10 month old. Newborns are constantly wet/dirty so you will need a lot.

I was told not to oveBuy on nappies as you don’t know what size baby will come out or how fast they will grow. So I’m buying one for now.

I have an Amazon subscription for a delivery once a month and skipped 2 of them already. The box had 222 (Huggies snug & dry) and lasted about 2 months and then I had to upsize anyways. I also always order a size bigger for a diaper at night (recommended by midwife as it holds more and you don't have to do a change until the morning). I usually have 5-6 diaper changes within 24 hrs, which we had from the very beginning. I should add that my baby only poops once a day  and sometimes only every 3 days (shes almost 5 months old). I'd say it depends on how often your baby poops as you want to change those diapers right away. You can leave wet diapers on until they're (almost) full. For us it takes between 2-4 hrs. I also use penaten creme on her for the night to avoid the wet feeling and diaper rashes. Of course you'd want to change more often if your baby has a rash. Highly recommend a blow dryer near the change table to really keep the bottom and genitals dry before you apply any creme or diaper, plus babies usually love it or just let baby go without diaper for a few minutes.
